Paralegal – Leeds


An opportunity for a Paralegal has become available in our Housing (Property Litigation) team. This role is key to support the fee earners and give them the time to focus on advising our Social Housing (Housing Association and Local Authority) clients. The successful candidate will join, learn and be mentored by an '‘outstanding’ team of Partners who have exceptional client relationships.

This role would be ideal for a Professional Paralegal, alternatively a Law Graduate. This position offers a wide and varied workload coupled with excellent career prospects.


  • Taking instructions and drafting statements.
  • Drafting pleadings.
  • Instructions to Counsel and Agents.
  • File opening.
  • Liaising with clients to obtain information required to complete standard documents.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of database maintenance, correspondence, filing and time recording.
  • Minute taking at client meetings.
  • Involvement in marketing / client social events.
  • Writing marketing materials / legal bulletins etc.
  • Assisting in preparation for seminars / training.


Required experience, skills and attributes

Technical skills

  • You have the ability to work with a degree of independence
  • You will possess good drafting skills and legal research ability.
