Paralegal – Newcastle

Housing (Plot Sales) 

An opportunity for a Paralegal has become available in our Housing (Plot Sales) team. This role plays a key part within the team, working with one of our biggest plat sales clients, to enable us to service the high number of plot sales and maintain current service levels.

The successful candidate will join, learn and be mentored by an '‘outstanding’ team who have exceptional client relationships.

This role would be ideal for a Professional Paralegal, alternatively a Law Graduate looking to start their career in Commercial law Firm.

Responsibilities

  • File opening.
  • Processing of plot sale reservations to include the preparation of plot sale contracts, transfers and leases using our in-house Plot+ database.
  • Issuing sales packs to purchasers solicitors.
  • Processing of re-sale instructions including the issuing of the draft contracts.
  • Chasing plot sale purchases solicitors, for updates and assisting with weekly updates as required by the builder clients.
  • Checking Help to Buy documentation and ensuring compliance is adhered too.
  • Preparation of deed plans for inclusion
  • Preparation of completion statements, invoicing.
  • Liaising with accounts to arrange funds transfers.
  • On-line applications to the Land Registry.
  • Sending files for closure.
